Patrick previously practiced law in Atlanta at two nationally-renown litigation and trial firms, exclusively handling catastrophic injury and death cases. EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Road Less Traveled
Patrick attended law school in Birmingham, Alabama at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law where he emphasized his studies on trial advocacy. During this period, Patrick also balanced his studies with extracurricular activities including acting in regional theater.
While in law school, Patrick met and married his wife, the former Laura Lundy of Cedartown, Georgia.
Prior to law school, Patrick attended The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, where he graduated at the top of his class. He was also elected to be battalion honor representative as well as class vice president, and he was selected for various leadership roles throughout his education.
More importantly, it was at The Citadel that Patrick refined his disciplined approach, gained attention to detail, and learned the importance of organization to success.
PAST EMPLOYMENT & GIVING
Diverse Experiences
Throughout college and the year after college, Patrick spent his time as a construction laborer for residential houses. From roofing, to framing, to pouring foundation – Patrick has done it all, and has an understanding of the toll hard labor can take on a person’s body and life.
In the years between his time at The Citadel and law school, Patrick also held multiple jobs at while serving as a full-time volunteer in Americorps. During the day, Patrick worked with supporting at-risk high school youth to help them graduate and attend college. His nights and weekends were spent as a server at Applebee's and delivering pizzas for Pizza Hut.
Sprinkled over these years, Patrick has also worn other hats. These include working as a busboy/dishwasher, serving in youth leadership roles at youth camp, volunteering as a guardian-ad-litem, and simply serving at local foodbanks and after-school programs.

Personal Background
Patrick was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. During his summers, Patrick lived with his grandparents while working at local restaurants.
In 2012, Patrick made his acting debut in the theatrical performance, “Into the Woods” in Cedartown, Georgia. During the curtain call he proposed to his wife, which can be viewed below:
